HIS JOURNEY
Sergio Herman (1970) inherited his love for cooking from his father. They worked together for years at ‘Oud Sluis’, before Sergio took over the restaurant in 1990. Oud Sluis earned three Michelin stars, the highest ranking of 20/20 by Gault Millau, and ranked no. 17 in San Pellegrino’s 50 Best list. After the success of Oud Sluis, Sergio Herman opened Pure C (2 Michelin stars), The Jane (2 Michelin stars), Airrepublic (1 Michelin star), and Le Pristine Antwerp (1 Michelin star).
